Greetings and my Bible safari from my upper room in Guatemala City!
It is overcast this morning but sunny later! I already had my breakfast and made the first pot of coffee for whoever is up and wanting coffee! Brian left to take Lauren to her high school, very nearby! Praying for their staff retreat to continue being refreshing, encouraging, and together time! Please pray for them!
Singing, “It is no secret what God can do! What He has done for others, He will do for you! With arms wide open, He will pardon you! It is no secret what our God can and will do!” Sing this old song if you know it. I am going to sing it off and on all day!
Psalm 91 — This Psalm is an all-time favorite for many believers! Theme? “Safety of abiding in the presence of God.” These words from God are literally the best instructions and very comforting!
SFL Bible Notes, p.770: “Pray the Word. Claim God’s promises for yourself and for others by praying Scripture. As you read this Psalm, make it your personal prayer by praying it to the Lord. For example, you might pray verse 4 something like this: “Lord, cover me with Your feathers, for under Your wings I take refuge. Let Your truth be a shield for me; let it protect me and cover me.” Let’s pray this today and tomorrow!

Proverbs for today: #11 What can integrity do for each one of us in our daily choices and desire to follow Jesus? V.2 “When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble comes wisdom!”
SFL Bible Notes, p.770: V.1-16 “Pray and pursue righteousness; it leads to life.” Psalm 103:2-4 “Remember and recall that in Christ Jesus, God has made a way for your complete forgiveness, healing, and restoration of life. Receive His tender mercy and lovingkindness for you—His divine love is beyond measure. Understand that in Christ, God has removed your sin entirely.” I will study this same Psalm tomorrow!
Jesus Calling book quote, p.74: “As you take steps of faith, depending on Me, I will show you how much I can do for you.” My mother was my first example of the believer after accepting Jesus. She was “all in!” Totally surrendered and found Jesus right there daily and nightly while we all slept, Mom was working at the hospital! She had so much energy—almost heavenly! Please read Psalm 59:16-17. These verses remind me of my mother’s lifestyle after she accepted Jesus.
Quoting Dr. Billy Graham’s book, “Hope for Each Day,” p.86: “Don’t carry your burden any longer, but bring it ‘boldly to the throne of grace’—and leave it there! God has said to His children, ‘Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’” Find these words in the book of Hebrews 4:16.
Praying blessings on your day! Write to me whenever possible!
